In the course winding down their 50th summer, The Driver’s Seat will host a tropical Luau on Saturday August 21. The hydrangeas and pansies will disappear (temporarily) and guests will party amidst palm trees, hibiscus, bougainvillea, Tiki torches and tropical décor on Saturday August 21 beginning at 10pm. Guests are invited to pull out their old Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts to come hula and shake their cocoanuts a bit at the popular Jobs Lane nightspot.
’There will be live music, specialty cocktails, giveaways and lots of fun’, promises barkeep Daniel Hoctor who organized the event and has been hosting the well attended post Agawam Concert series of parties each Wednesday.
