On Saturday, July 17, the tenth annual event will be held at the Ross School Center for Well Being in East Hampton. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served at the reception. A Silent Auction will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the live auction will begin at 6. Courtney Ross will be honored at the auction with a special award for her generosity to East End Hospice for all ten years. The honorary committee promises to be especially festive annual event, includes such notable figures from the arts as Sheldon Harnick, Alec Baldwin, Mercedes Ruehl, Edward Albee and Arlene and Alan Alda.
The public is invited to a preview reception at Hoie Hall at St. Luke’s Church in East Hampton (18 James Lane) on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. You can see the boxes at Hoie Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, July 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission to the auction is $60 which includes wine and hors d'oeuvres. All proceeds will benefit East End Hospice, which provides care for terminally ill patients, their families and loved ones living on the North and South Forks of Long Island, including Brookhaven Township.
