Kicking off what is sure to be an exciting, long-standing East End tradition, join Co-Founders Linda Argila and Kristin Boese, Guinness World Record Holder & 9-Time World Kiteboarding Champion, to launch the First Annual DREAM EXTREME. Fulfilling its mission To Empower Others to Overcome Life’s Challenges and Live Their Dreams, DREAM EXTREME will be host to a day-long beachside fête, two-day female kiteboarding clinic and evening dinner dance party, all benefiting victims of domestic violence. As Co-Founder, Linda has found empowerment through kiteboarding to rise above the challenges in her own life and hopes to bring the same motivational spirit to others, encouraging men and women to triumph over challenge. Proceeds from DREAM EXTREME will benefit STEPS to End Family Violence (New York, NY) and The Retreat (East Hampton, NY).
From stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming instruction, to yoga, tai chi and kids’ entertainment, a live DJ and gourmet food and drink, the day-long celebration will have something for everyone, while providing a scenic setting for spectators to watch the breathtaking sport of kiteboarding. Kristin Boese is at the helm of the clinic. Female participants will learn to kiteboard or improve their skills from the best in the world. Kristin and her Pro team will provide expert instruction, riding techniques and motivation. As the sun goes down, the beachside bash will become a dinner dance party, complete with cocktails and dinner, a silent auction and live music and dancing through the night.
