The James Beard Foundation will honor chef, TV personality and multiple James Beard Award-winner Emeril Lagasse at Chefs & Champagne® New York, the Foundation's annual summer fundraiser in the Hamptons. This sumptuous tasting party features flowing Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, the wines of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, beers from Stella Artois and culinary offerings from a select group of more than 40 fine chefs, many from JBF Award-winning restaurants.
Chefs & Champagne® New York is considered the East End’s premiere culinary event. Funds raised at the event will help to support the James Beard Foundation’s mission and programs. A silent auction consisting of fine dining experiences, wines and spirits, cookware and culinary travel packages will also raise funds for the non-profit James Beard Foundation. The 2011 recipient of the Christian Wölffer Scholarship for wine and food studies will also be announced.
General Admission: JBF Members $200, Non-members $275. General admission includes: all tastings, silent auction bidding opportunities and gift bag.
VIP Premium Admission: $375 for JBF Members and Non-members. VIP tables of 10: $3,500. The VIP experience includes exclusive one-hour access (4:30 pm to 5:30 pm) to all tastings; advanced silent auction bidding; reserved seating; access to VIP after-party with food courtesy of Great Performances (8:00 pm to 10:30 pm); and a gift bag.
