Sole East has partnered with ESCAPE to host ESCAPE to MONTAUK, a boutique celebration of all things Montauk. The celebration kicks off Friday, August 3rd at 6 p.m., continues on Saturday, August 4th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and concludes with a brunch on Sunday, August 5th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Highlights include: new and emerging acoustical music, art exhibits, yoga activities, kids activities, a speakers corner, outdoor film and a fashion village with pop-up shops. The celebration will take place on the grounds of Sole East and will be free to attend. Creative cocktails, local wines and fresh local cuisine from the Backyard Restaurant will be available for purchase throughout the weekend. ’We are excited to host this boutique celebration at Sole East. There will be fun activities for all ages on the property from kids yoga and face painting to poolside music and acoustic acts,’ states Sole East owner Dave Ceva.

Escape to Montauk will kick off Friday evening with local Montauk band Jettykoon at 6 p.m. followed by DJ Michaelangelo L’Acqua spinning at The Backyard Restaurant beginning at 10 p.m. On Saturday morning a rejuvenating yoga class will be offered to start off the day, followed by the opening of the fashion village at 10 a.m. The village will feature select pop-up shops on the property such as Joey Wolffer’s Styliner, an accessories boutique on wheels featuring unique designers and pieces from all over the world and various other NYC and local vendors. The morning hours will also feature kids activities such as kids yoga, face painting and crafting.
Beginning at noon and continuing in the afternoon by the pool guest DJs will perform including Albert Hammond Jr. (of The Strokes) and Lauren Dillard (of Creep) and Hamptons local DJ Twilo. There will be a special afternoon performance in honor of the 2012 London Olympics by Waterworks NYC, a synchronized swimming team. A speakers corner will feature short talks and theatrical performances by selects artists. The evening hours will feature acoustic music from Federico Aubele, Argentine singer songwriter, BP Fallon, and Saul Kurtz starting at 6 p.m. On Sunday the weekend will close with Sole East’s famed Jazz and Bossa Nova Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Chef Larry Kolar’s a la carte brunch menu accompanied by live music from bossa nova duo Ludmilla and Marcello Pimenta. The Fashion Village will be open throughout the day on Sunday starting at 10 a.m. and closing at 5 p.m.
Those wishing to attend Escape to Montauk must RSVP by emailing escape@soleeast.com. Escape is offering V.I.P. wristbands for purchase online for $20 that will offer special discounts on select activities, retail and food and drink. Wrist banded guests will have priority access.
