Launch of the Martone Cycling Co. at the Paramount Hotel in NYC last week,
Lorenzo Martone brought his chic friends out to Montauk for a private dinner at the Surf Lodge on Sunday night.

"Bicycles by Martone Cycling Co., which includes a duomatic gear switching feature and is slowly being rolled out in Europe and the U.S., will now be carried in the Surf Lodge's Surf Bazaar along with Saks Fifth Avenue, the Paramount Hotel's Free & the Brave, Corner Shop in London and the French cult boutique, Colette.
The word of Mr. Martone's functional yet fashionable street bikes is spreading fast. Model and actress Dree Hemingway, who attended the rather chilly event with her boyfriend, restaurateur Phil Winser, asked Mr. Martone earnestly about his bicycles as she played around on the three which sat in front of the Surf Bazaar.
"I want to see my friends riding them because I think they're going to be more beautiful," said Mr. Martone, not indicating whether he was referring to the bicycles or the riders."
