Let's just put it out there that there is nothing pretentious about Liar's Saloon. The most inexpensive beer in Montauk comes from the briny dive bar located in the harbor. Three words says it all: $1 draft bud. Bartenders are fearless cocktail mixers, and the laid-back outside deck is filled with a crowd completely opposite of those individuals you will encounter at The Surf Lodge. Locals inhabit this place like a local refuge. Known for their Blessing of the Fleet celebration, mudslides, and infamous Montauk slogan "a quaint drinking village with a fishing problem," Liar's Saloon offers more than a good drink, but also a friendly atmosphere and beautiful view of Lake Montauk.
