Probably as far from hipster as you can get, this is more like the Jersey Shore in the Hamptons. While Hipsters won't be chased out the door, with all the fist pumping and Jaeger bombs going on, they'll wish they had been. The lack of hipsters is easily the one of the best parts about this place. Forget about being pretentious and exclusive, this place is all about having fun and getting a little wasted.
Rating: 1 Fedora, and 6 baseball caps, (though its instagram hash tag probably warrants another fedora or two). Until next summer, this place is still for the frat boy crowd.
We hope this handy guide helps you find or avoid your hampsters out east next visit! Feel free to voice your opinions in the comment section!

Sorry, but wasn't it the brilliant booksellers at BookHampton that baptized the great unwashed "Hampsters?" According to the New Yorker and the Village Voice it was. [blogs.villagevoice.com]

The gig shack is not owned by locals. The people who own it lived in NYC and had a house out here. SO they are NOT LOCALS!!!!! None of them were born and raised out here year round. Check your facts. This is just one of the many false statements that I have read on this craptastic site!

We were the last peopel to get married at the crows nest before it became a "hampster" hangout. If theytreat people the way they treated us, iI would Endorse this awesome amazing place all day long. Great food, great staff, worth going to check out despite the hipster rating...
