The Annual Hamptons Heart Ball Went Virtual This Year But Was Just As Glam As Ever

Although gala season looks different this year, the American Heart Association's 24th Annual Hamptons Heart Ball brought the party to Zoom, and the turnout was as notable as ever.

On Saturday, June 20th guests from around the country tuned in to raise funds for further heart health and stroke research. Despite this year's gala being virtual, guests were still encouraged to pour a glass of champagne, dress up, and share their Hamptons-ready black tie with the hashtag #HamptonsHeartBall. Per usual, social staple and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff turned out an especially thematic look.

The hour-long event featured survivors, honorees, and 2020 Hamptons Heart Ball Chair Cristina Civetta followed by an auction. Actress and heart survivor Susan Lucci also made an appearance in a special video. 

Auctioneers Bobby D & Erin Ward of Inspire Hearts Fundraising even managed to transform the Zoom bash into the typically-tented event with a backdrop of last year's lively venue. Who said digital fundraising can't be as fun as an IRL party?!
