So many Lovely Leos celebrating their Birthdays this August...We were particularly impressed with the party put on by our friends Max Bonbrest and Erin Bixler (both Leo's with birthdays a few days apart) in Max's lovely backyard out east. Erin, an up and coming interior designer, used cinder blocks to elevate large pieces of plywood which provide the perfect table tops adorned with freshly cut peonies. The menu, compliments of resident chef Nick Richitt and grill-master Brian McGinnis, consisted of pesto pasta, grilled chicken, burgers and corn as well as homemade potato chips and parmesan truffle french fries! For dessert, mini ice cream sandwiches and watermelon were served.

Add in some white sangria (5 gallons were made!), late night sparklers, and some eager guests, and you've got a party worth talking about on Monday morning! Summer's not over yet, so take it from these ladies and get your Backyard BBQ's in the works for the weekend!
