Other details: On Sunday, August 17th, Charlie and Lauran Walk welcomed guests for an exclusive dinner at their home. Diners started with a glass of Ruinart champagne and a selection of canapes, including paella croquetas, white garlic soup, blinis, as well as a raw bar inspired by Thompson Miami Beach's beachside locale. Decorations, including basket chandeliers, natural draping, palm trees, and pillar candles, reflected designer Martin Brudnizki. DJ Kalkutta provided the evening's music, and Chef Bernstein presented guests with an overview of the menu that would include local ingredients such as Michy's fried chicken, lamp chops, seared scallops, braised turnips, wild mushrooms, and crispy chickpea panisse. A dessert station featured raw fruit, salted caramel pot de creme, and cookies.
