Who was there: Guests included Reverend William Hoffman, Reverend Michael Rieder, and Cantor Debra Stein.
Other details: Boats of all types and their respective owners gathered on Sunday evening, along with notable religious leaders from the community for the annual Blessing of the Fleet in Montauk Harbor. As per usual, water fights with hoses ensued, which when you think about it is kind of like holy water for the boats, and the drinks were certainly flowing. After the holy event, an onshore celebration kicked off at the newly opened Swallow on Montauk Harbor, where steel drum band Vivian and the Merrymakers did their thing.
