Although there were a few technical difficulties, the film seemed to be well received by the audience. The evening was sponsored by The Peggy Siegal Company and Brioni, who also provided Richard Gere with all of his well-tailored suits in the film. Once the movie was over, the crowd headed to the home of Leila and Mickey Straus for a supper reception.
