When I waitressed last summer at my local country club, I could usually predict orders before they emerged from golf-weary diners. He'll have the T-bone and she'll take the Carriage Salad, non-fat dressing on the side, without the bacon. While I understand the lady's concerns (that new Lilly Pulitzer tennis dress mustn't go to waste!), rabbit food is not, cannot be the only option. And in the Hamptons, anyway, it isn't.
