And just like that... Montauk's status as the seasonal destination of all things trendy gets a new, delicious bump.
It appears that cult favorite Brooklyn pizzeria Roberta's is making the trek out East this year, opening a new saucy outpost at 240 Fort Pond Road (formerly the home of Arbor).
Located just down the road from the Surf Lodge, the restaurant is hoping to have their wood-fire stove up and running by May 30th, just in time for the summer rush.
While we still respect Village Pizza as the OG Montauk spot to grab a slice (it's been around for over 50 years!!), let's hope that these two can coexist, and that the old guard takes this as an opportunity to up their game.
We can already see the long lines now...
