The Pharmacy
Grab breakfast at The Pharmacy, Shelter Island’s own diner/historic breakfast spot. The Pharmacy recently changed its name to Soda and Drugs, but locals will still refer to it as The Pharmacy. Here you can pick up your prescription and grab an egg sandwich while you wait. The Pharmacy is very quaint, however it is always packed with people trying to get their daily fix. The only seating they provide is a small counter space near the kitchen. The small space makes it easy to eavesdrop on island gossip.
Recommended Dish: Bacon egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel, with hash-browns and “green box” iced tea.
