Hamptons: Montauk

Hamptons: Montauk
Surf LodgeBeach: Ditch Plains Ditch Plains Beach is favored by surfers for the great waves. Located two miles east of the village, this popular ocean beach is a great place to join the surfers or watch from the sand. Bar: The Surf Lodge Known for its loud music and parking problems, the Surf Lodge was more than a nuisance for local residents in past seasons. It's also had it's share of internal problems. But, miraculously, the rocky relationship between the Surf Lodge and MTK town has settled, and now the lodge is a staple hot spot for sunset drinks on the water, a nice family dinner as well as a late night live music venue. Restaurant: Crow's Nest Since NYC Hotelier Sean MacPherson took over the Crow's Nest four Summers ago, he has been consistently adding his magical touches to the property each year. With aprivate beach on Lake Montauk with gorgeous sunsets, a sprawling lawn and a super friendly fire pit, Crow's Nest is the place to go. The Crow's Nest Restaurant located within The Crow's Nest Inn is open seasonally and offers Long Island's freshest fish. See also: [The 2013 Official Hamptons Nightlife Guide]
