You Should Know: Bronson Lamb

by Christie Grimm · August 29, 2016

How this Florida boy made his way upstream to Montauk, we can't say for sure. But we can surely say we're glad he did. Aside from heading up Whalebone, that sandy magazine / cool shop / bone sweatshirt you can't go anywhere east of Sag Harbor without seeing, Bronson is everyone's not so secret crush. As for his best kept secret? Karaoke Fridays at Liar's - it's on.

Name: Bronson Lamb
Occupation: Co Founder and Managing Director of Whalebone
Place of Birth: Jacksonville (Actionville), FL
Instagram / Twitter: @bronsonlamb
Zodiac Sign: Pisces

What do you actually do? Strategy, operations, and janitorial services. One hour I'll be planning our editorial calendar and the next I'll be knee deep in our storage unit counting fish boxes. Yes we store our clothes in fish boxes. Don't be jealous.

My motto is: Just keep moving forward. Especially when an obstacle or hardship gets in your way and seems insurmountable, just keep going and you'll get through it. Dwelling on it just slows you down. Oh and anything from Dr. Seuss.

5 Favorite Hamptons Places:
In no particular order...
The Dock
Shagwongs
The dog park in Montauk
Shell beach in Sag (sshhhh)
Shelter Island
Can I have a 6th? - Block Island

The craziest thing I've done out East is... That's probably not good for business. Just don't ask Sunny.

Best kept Hamptons secret? The Whalebone boys, especially Charlie, would kill me. Sorry. But if we need one... I got it... Friday night karaoke at Liars. It's no secret but it's pretty damn special.

If you had one day left out East, what would you do? Breakfast at ditch wich, morning surf, hang with my mutt in the water at navy beach, mudslide at Liars, sunset at the montauket, then BBQ at someone's house. Preferably with a pool for the new favorite whalebone pastime... relay races. Phelps we're coming for you. Probably close out with some music at Shagwong or over at the Talkhouse.

Who should we know? George or Cheech. #cheechformayor #hemakesdopehats
