The best part of the day happens before this parade even begins (and no, it's not mass) -- THEY DYE THE CHICAGO RIVER GREEN! The dyeing of the Chicago river starts at 10:45a.m. Best views will be on the east side of the Michigan Bridge, the West side of the Columbus Drive bridge or upper and lower Wacker Drive between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive.
