Issue: Illegal Immigration

Candidates: Mitt Romney, Rick Perry

Rick Perry has had a weak showing at the previous debates, but the gloves definitely came off last night! In one of the most entertaining bits from the debate, Perry accused Romney of hiring illegal immigrants (which is not funny), but Romney looks on amused and then laughs (which is funny). Romney tries to explain but Perry, apparently, was not done.

I'm surprised fisticuffs did not ensue, but the laughter on this side of the televised debate did. Perry did the same thing to Anderson Cooper as well, and got booed by the audience.
