What Pieces Did You Sell At Art Basel That Were Tough To See Go?

langdonEd: On opening night, we sold a graphite drawing on mylar by Langdon Graves which has been a personal favorite of mine from the moment I saw it. It’s a surrealist and almost scientific composition of an eyeball and pattern alluding to studies on the pineal gland as explained in an essay by DesCarte. The work went to another dealer who I respect, so I’m glad I’ll be able to visit it in the future.
