Lighting the Beacon
Ongoing: Lighting The BeaconResidents of the 54-nation Commonwealth of former British colonies got in on the festivities by lighting 4,200 beacons both in Britain and around the world. Tonga had the honor of lighting the first beacon, and the Queen will light the final one tonight after the concert.
