Another Heineken subsidiary, Parbo Bier was first brewed by Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld at the Surinamese Brewery in 1955. Parbo dominates the beer industry in Suriname with a whopping 80% market share.
Olympic Fact: Suriname has competed in almost every Summer Olympics since 1960, but has never participated the the Winter Olympics.
