Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt, Jamaica
Usain "Lightning" Bolt made history during the 2008 Summer Olympics by breaking three world records en route to three gold medals. First, he broke his own world record in the 100 meters, finishing in 9.69 seconds. After that, Bolt captured the world record in the 200 meters finishing in 19.3 seconds, becoming the first sprinter to break both records simultaneously. He celebrated his 22nd birthday that night at midnight. Two days later he put the icing on the birthday cake by helping his Jamaican 4x100 team break the world record, completing his trifecta of golds, and world records. We'll see if Bolt can top himself yet again in London. [Photo via]
