Jason Kraus: Concrete Form
A little more than the minimalist work of Scot Heywood, Jason Kraus uses paint on plywood with a variety of colors in his exhibit, Concrete Form. The edges of the plywood are left in their natural wooden state, while one side is painted a solid color. Blocks of plywood are also placed in the exhibit with items placed on top, such as a chair and cups (however, the cups are actually "not art"). Compare this minimalist work of Jason Kraus's exhibit at Redling Fine Art to Scot Heywood's exhibit still running at the Frank Lloyd Gallery.
