Zeser: Bottom Line
Parkour pro Zeser effortlessly grabs onto 90-degree poles and walls and climbs up them with such fluidity, it's like he's swimming on solid objects. If it were me, I would run straight into the wall and get my hands scraped up like I was an elementary school student. While free running is Zeser's secondary talent, it's a means for him to reach daring places, like the back of freeway signs, to perform his street art. Transitioning from billboards and walls to canvases, Zeser uses paintbrushes, mini paint rollers, and spray cans to combine mixed media for a series of work he did from 2013 in his Bottom Line exhibition. His firm and gentle application of paint with loose brushstrokes added to about 20 years of street art experience shows an organized chaos in his first art show. See why Zeser is one of the 100 artists dubbed, "Gods of Graffitti" from The Seventh Letter crew at Known Gallery until Oct. 19!
