Ryan Wallace: Redactor
Don't be confused, it's not an image from a geology textbook. Materials in Ryan Wallace's collage-based paintings include vinyl screens, wax, and other discarded materials that are blended together with enamel, acrylic, glass, and several other media on canvas board. Wallace's chaotic organization of different mediums creates sedimentary layers, but you don't have to study those geological terms to appreciate his work.
