Even for a veteran crew like Phantom Planet, playing practically their first show (they did rock a surprise opening set last week at JJAMZ's residency gig at The Satellite, under the oh-so-secret fake band name "Lithium Blue") after such a long layoff means no time for goofing around during sound check.
