Sportie LA Presents TOMS One Day Without Shoes

Sportie LA will be partnering with TOM’s Shoes for One Day Without Shoes event, to spread the word about the importance of a single pair of shoes to a person’s life. Imagine walking 15 miles to school, for water, or to see your doctor … without shoes. No matter what the weather. No matter how you feel. One Day Without Shoes shines a spotlight on the tragic circumstances experienced by so many around the world. And you can help us shine that light. Celebrities, VIPS and guests will take off their shoes and walk around in the sand while helping a great cause and enjoy food, drinks and music. Tom Shoes developed the idea of One Day Without Shoes so that people around the world would go barefoot and experience what the millions of people living without shoes go through on a daily basis. Over 300 million children in the world do not own a pair of shoes. Last year 250,000 people went without shoes for the day.
