100% of funds raised will go directly to aid relief efforts in Japan through the Japan America Society of Southern California
Los Angeles, CA - April 20, 2011 - Lisa Ling, the An Family and many celebrities have united to host ’Tiato - ON THE MEND 4 Japan,’ at the Tiato restaurant in Santa Monica beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. The benefit promises to be a one-of-a-kind night of incredible food, live entertainment and a silent auction with 100% of all proceeds going to aid relief efforts in Japan.
The evening will begin with a prefixed dinner, hosted cocktails and hors d oeuvres. The night will feature amazing performances by acclaimed singer/songwriter Mozella, David Ryan Harris and DJ Mark Writeman from Ill Media. A touching Japanese dance performance will be done by Wakahisa-Kai. A silent auction and raffle will also take place after the live entertainment.
’Tiato - ON THE MEND 4 Japan’ will raise funds and global awareness in support of the Japan recovery efforts for the millions who have been impacted by the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
The Host Committee for the event consists of: Lisa Ling, Kelly Hu, Masi Oka, Susan Hirasuna, Bob Yari, Jeff Solorio, Todd Hawkins, Caroline Yim, James Kyson Lee, Douglas Donehoo, Melissa George, Julia Ling, Catherine An, Jacqueline An, Christopher Blanchard, Chianti Phillips, Marlene Meraz, Suzy Machado, Cathy Lee and Yumi Mizui.

’Tiato - ON THE MEND 4 Japan’ tickets are offered at $50 for General Admission (includes hosted passed tray appetizers and sponsored beverage) and $100 for Dinner Ticket, which includes dinner and all aspects of General Admission.
