Sportie LA and Slam Magazine celebrate the 2011 NBA All-Star game with a Kickoff Party hosted by Rick Fox. Celebrities, VIPs, and tastemakers will witness a celebrity hoops competition benefiting the UN Foundation’s Nothing but Nets, grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria on site grooming by Bolt Barbers, appetizers, beverages by Monster and Coca Cola, gift bags filled with items from Adidas, Supra, Levis, Ultimate Ears and BEAR PAWS, and music spun by DJ Reflex. The festivities will continue with a two day block party and gift lounge sponsored by Backstage Artist Lounge where celebrities and media can pick up items from Adidas, Supra, Levis, Ultimate Ears and BEAR PAWS, grooming from Bolt Barbers, free-throw contest, dunk contest, artwork and live music and participate in games hosted by Radical Publishing. Radical Publishing will be providing iPads for participants to compete or download the app onto your own mobile device. Radical will donate $1 to Nothing But Nets for every person that downloads and plays - everyone wins!
