It's presented by the lovely TS+ projects, as part of Photo LA
The work was originally created as part of the #class project, organized by Jen Dalton and William Powhida. Go ahead and google that. They are microfamous! It's more or less what it sounds like-- an 18 minute prose poem to James Franco performed as a monologue. Last time it was presented it helped kick off a rash of international art rumors.
TS Projects and the rest of PhotoLA have some great things planned all week and I encourage you to go get cultured all up in there.
A theatre friend of mine describes this project as "one man's brilliant quest to find an audience that is not afraid to admit they kind of like how exceptionally articulate and indulgent this post-pop fanboy has become!" I'm not going to lie, there's this little part of me that thinks it's tremendous and powerful. The rest of me is filled with self doubt and loathing. So come for a good time, or a train wreck, or both.
