| Description |
Gallery 3209 is pleased to present a multimedia installation of work that explores language, personal and communal history and its influence on perception in contemporary visual culture. The exhibition features works by emerging LA based artists Kelly Akashi, Morgan Cuppet-Michelsen and Michelle Jane Lee. Each artist showcases a distinct conceptual approach, which is reflected in the diversity of aesthetics. Lee’s drawings of colored squares, each representing a letter of the alphabet, make up patterns that tell personal stories through an idiosyncratic coding system
