Tennis legends Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras and Jim Courier take center court to announce the much anticipated Champions Series tennis tour schedule at a press conference May 3rd at 11:00am in the STAPLES Center’s Star Plaza. Immediately following the press conference, a tennis exhibition featuring all three athletes will take place.
In addition to Agassi, Sampras and Courier, the 12-city competitive U.S. tour will feature John McEnroe, Michael Chang, Mats Wilander and Bjorn Borg competing for a prize pool totaling $1 million. Each of the one-night tournaments will feature four champions paired off in one-set semifinals, culminating with the winners competing for the title in an eight-game pro-set championship match.
