This exhibition, curated by participating artist Robert Standish, concentrates on the way Tony Ward (called "Male Icon of the Year" by French Vogue) has served as muse for a large variety of artists working in diverse media--these artists include Steven Klein, Patrick Hoelck, Herb Ritts, Retna and many more. In this exhibition, Ward, who shot to fame when he was featured in Madonna's controversial book Sex as well as her hyper-sexualized music videos, is revealed to be the embodiment of masculine ideals, beauty, brutality, fashion, and sexual ambiguity.
