On Friday, November 18, 2011, Georges Duboeuf, Passions Productions and the Club Culinaire of French Cuisine will celebrate the art of Beaujolais Nouveau with the release of Duboeuf’s most vibrant harvest yet and an evening of ”˜Beaujolais Passions’ at the Beverly Hills Country Club.
Michael McLeer, known as ’Kaves’, was chosen to serve as the artistic voice of the Nouveau Expression 2011 campaign and designed the label for the ...2011 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau. Kaves is a multi-media artist with many creative expressions: painting, street art, film, music, tattooing and writing. A true artistic individual, Kaves embodies the youthful, vibrant, enjoy-life-and-good-times expression of Beaujolais Nouveau: a wine without rules, a wine with limitless ways to be experienced and enjoyed.
”˜Beaujolais Passions’ guests will have the unique opportunity to sample the Beaujolais Nouveau 2011 provided by Georges Duboeuf, pamper their taste buds on fine French cuisine and network with influencing decision-makers while experiencing the beauty of French culture firsthand. ”˜Beaujolais Passions’ will feature live entertainment, a fantastic DJ, a fabulous silent auction, and great raffle prizes. Other delicious wines from the Beaujolais region will also be available at the bar.
ENTERTAINMENT - The event will open with Nathalie Alice, a multi-talented French vocalist and musician who offers her audience an eclectic repertoire of French songs as well as American and Latin classics. The jazz inspired singer will bring her laid-back European feel and breezy, sensual voice to the Beaujolais Passions stage. Her music will sweep you along the Seine River and put you right in the middle of a sidewalk Parisian café, and once you've arrived there, you will never want to leave!
In the meanwhile, celebrated street artist Evan Skrederstu will be creating a Beaujolais Nouveau-inspired artwork live at the event!
Cirque du Soleil events' regular DJ Nicolas Le Masson will be spinning a mix of popular French and US tunes to keep Beaujolais Passions guests on the dance floor.
