Dr. Dre & Snoop
The first thing they teach you at journalism school (or so I hear from "The Wire") is to never bury the . So let's get this out of the way: Day 3 of Coachella is all about seeing Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg on stage together. With his demanding schedule of selling Dr. Pepper and not releasing albums, Dre rarely performs live anymore, and has not shared a major stage with Snoop for quite a while. In fact, my 9-year old cousin has never seen a Dr. Dre album released in her lifetime, which may explain why she has not yet developed an interest in synth-heavy West Coast gangsta rap.
Also, Snoop is using Coachella to unveil his new line of "premium cigars," which are clearly meant to be smoked as is and not tampered with in any way, shape or form. When they launch into "Nuthin But A G Thang" you're going to be able to smell the weed smoke from Arizona. [via]
