This is exactly what it sounds like – a Marijuana oasis in the middle of the desert. This party brought out EVERYONE. I was there every single day and at any given point you would run into the likes of Lana Del Rey, A$AP Rocky, Kendall Jenner, Schoolboy Q, Rita Ora, and many, many more. On Saturday night Rocky took over the party and invited a ton of his friends, and at around 4 am he took to the stage with D.R.A.M. and performed a brand new, unreleased song. Uh, yeah, major.
Sponsored by the world's top cannabis brands, the oasis was quite literally LIT up with people indulging at every corner. This is the 5th year in a row I’ve attended Coachella (I know, I know) so it’s safe to say I know my way around the desert - still, I’ve never seen a party like this. Ever. Anywhere. Mostly because it isn’t legal in most places to give away weed but #bless California for leading the pack. Now I plan on making a prayer circle of Diptyque candles, praying for the day New York legalizes marijuana like California has. Until that day though, I’ll have whatever memories come to me when I light up. This party gets 15/10 joints.
