-In 2009, the talented tween auditioned for the part of Rocky Blue in the Disney Channel show
Shake It Up! alongside Bella Thorne, a project that would end up providing breakout roles for both of them.
-Between television crossovers and Disney Channel movies, Zendaya was also able to start dabbling in her music career, releasing various promotional independent singles.
-She put her moves to good use last year, when she was cast as the youngest contestant to ever appear on
Dancing with the Stars. Unsurprisingly, she took the show by storm and finished the season as the runner up.
