There are so many different events going on at the
Santa Monica Pier in celebration of today, it's almost overwhelming, but we'll start with the free stuff: Zumba lessons, dessert at Mariasol Mexican Restaurant, merry-go-round rides, and lessons to learn "The Bug Dance" by the people of Cirque du Soleil. Oooookay.
Now to the non-free things that are still a great bargain. Tonight at the Santa Monica Pier, you'll find deals on tickets to Starline Tours and the aquarium, specials on bike rentals as well as bait & tackle rentals, sales at the Oatman Rock Shop and the Tees-R-Us Cart. The Radio Disney road crew will be there, probably narrating the Leap Day celebration, while the members of the Cirque du Soleil OVO show will be leaping about in their special performance later this afternoon. I couldn't think of a more bizarre celebration for a more bizarre day.
