Being roughly 6,000 miles away from Paris did not get in the way of the worldly denizens of Los Angeles in properly saluting French independence over the weekend with Bagatelle's spirited Bastille Day brunch fête. Okay, to be fair, holidays of foreign nations are some of our most favorite to observe (See: Cinco De Mayo, St. Patrick's Day) no matter the distance of their origins.
