The bridges, Court Avenue, the rolling hills – and the Iowa Capitol is probably the most beautiful state capitol building in the US.” – Director Brent Roske Other members of the cast including Jeff Bragg, Brandon Jones (ABC Family’s ‘Pretty Little Liars’), Carolyn Hennesy (‘True Blood’) and Gina Belafonte (HBO’s ‘Sing Your Song’) were in attendance as well. Belafonte plays Senator Gina Piccolo in the film, a candidate for President: “Courting Des Moines’ is a creative way to give us an intimate look at the Iowa Caucus process. It’s critical for citizens to see how they can participate in our democracy and this film is a portrait of that reality. I had a blast working on the project and I’m looking forward to working with Brent again."
