Mobb Deep at The Key Club
In his book How To Rap: The Art & Science of the Hip-Hop MC, author Paul Edwards describes Mobb Deep as "one of the most critically acclaimed hardcore East Coast Hip Hop group." Hopefully being written about in a book that takes such an academic approach to rapping hasn't hurt their street cred at all. With the name of their latest album (Black Cocaine), we'll assume they've still got it. See for yourself when they roll through L.A. this week to take over the Key Club Thursday night. [Details]
