Last night Flavie and Clayton Webster, the husband and wife designer duo behind Cerre, hosted an event at their Melrose shop to to premiere
Ascension. Expansion. Dissolution, the short film showcasing their F/W 2013 collection (watch it
HERE). Cerre has become known for its exceptional leather pieces, clean construction and accessible edginess and
L.A. Times fashion critic Booth Moore calls last night's collection debut the brand's best yet.
In addition to the film screening, the stylish crowd of local designers, photographers, artists, models and tastemakers in attendance were treated to video installations combined with a live performance of the soundtrack by Marsona (Brian McKinley of Black Bananas and RTX, and Clayton Webster), plus DJ sets from Melody Nelson and LA visual artist
Jason Yates.
