Barak Ballet continues to shine. On Thursday, June 19th, L.A.'s newest contemporary ballet company brought the house down with their second program at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. VIP guests enjoyed wine, floating hors d'oeuvres, and live music before heading into the theater for the real treat, the performance. Program included two world premieres by artistic director Melissa Barak in collaboration with award winning High School Musical composer David Lawrence, and by dance extraordinaire Darrell Grand Moultrie, who has choreographed on legendary companies from Smuin Ballet to pop artists such as Beyonce.
