Slide #2

Meanwhile, The WORK Magazine, an international quarterly with a focus on art, culture, design and fashion, was feting its own launch with a party celebrating the release of "CENSORSHIP" Issue No. 5 elsewhere in The Bungalow. WORK's guests were invited out to enjoy the tuneage of KCRW's Chris Douridas manning the turntables and musical stylings of indie electronic band The Polyamorous Affair, free-flowing cocktails and select works included in CENSORSHIP on display. Though occupying designated spaces at the start, Angelenos are skilled in the art of party detection and crashing. After all, we regularly traverse canyons, battle rush hour, and even cross the 405 to get to a good shindig on a whim, so it takes more than some decorative driftwood a velvet rope to keep us from finding our way to a cool party. Therefore, it didn't take long for guests of the simultaneous events to sniff each other out and eventually merge the two parties to form one giant blowout.
