Guests filled the Hollywood lot where they were treated to cocktails and a true Hollywood spectacle when it came time to present the cars. Set against the backdrop of the motherland's Union Jack, Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum was joined by Land Rover and Range Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern atop a platform surrounded by a placid lake where the two introduced their latest sleek creations, the Jaguar F-TYPE and the All New Land Rover Range Rover.
For the grand entrance, each vehicle emerged from opposite ends of a mini ocean—the same used for Hollywood classic
The Ten Commandments when Charlton Heston as Moses parts the Red Sea in that iconic scene—parting the body of water as each drove towards center stage. As the water drained out from the ground, guests headed to the cars for an up-close visit of the newest luxury models from across the pond.
