It's not that we'd ever imply that Drai's normal insistence on "upscale swim attire" at their pool parties doesn't produce the intended effect, but the crowd really stepped it up an extra notch for the American Boardwalk. The 1910s and 1920s weren't really a good time to be anything other than a rich white male, but damned if that style isn't having a second moment.
