8. Booze
Although the bulk of our thoughts on travel drinking can be found in
this installment of "Traveling With The 99%," here's one more thing I realize: now that most airlines have raised the maximum size of liquids you're allowed to travel with to 3 ounces, I'm pretty sure
you can legally carry on your own airplane bottles of booze, which clock in around 1.5 oz, onto the plane. And they sell at BevMo! for about half the price of a "cocktail" onboard, with a way better selection. Imagine how jealous your neighbors will be when you bust out the
mini absinthe. Just keep your ears to yourself, okay, Van Gogh?
