∞STYLES WE LOVE∞

575 Castro, $325 How It Works: This style celebrates the life of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to public office in California. Before his political career, Milk owned a San Francisco camera shop at 575 Castro Street, hence the model's name. Hand sewn beading down the arms in a color gradient represent the rainbow flag symbol for gay pride, and for every pair sold, $10 is donated to gay rights organizations supporting and educating school children. Louisiana Purchase, $180 How It Works: As you may have surmised, this model celebrates the Thomas Jefferson's Louisiana Purchase, specifically New Orleans, the birthplace of Jazz. Therefore, brass, the material of jazz instruments such as the trumpet like the one New Orleans native Louis Armstrong used to play, is featured on the arms to pay tribute to the this significant contribution to music. For every pair sold, $10 is donated to the Jazz Foundation of America’s “Agnes Varis Jazz in the Schools” program. [Photo via Instagram]
